D200 focusing screen catch
In preparation for a Katz Eye focusing screen install I took this snapshot of the catch that holds the D200 focusing screen in place (Coolpix 3700). It appears that the wire needs to be pushed just slightly towards mount to release, and up towards the focusing screen to lock into the catch. This can be tricky, however the image shows that there is just a matter of getting it into the right position in front of the catch, no extra force involved to get it in there. It is not practical to see the catch during install, so the right angle had to be found by multiple tries.
