Ski trail after warm-up to above freezing
Almost the same place on the ski trail early in the Chinook that followed the 16 day cold spell (slightly further in, I could not find the exact same place because trees had straightened when they got rid of their load). Ground still cold, condensation (frost) on bottom of cold tree trunks. Relatively cold pockets of air are still hiding inside the forest
