At the start of the challenge, week 1 of 52 Oct 2nd - Oct 8th I posted this image of a Russian block house, University of Alaska Museum: "Shot on my way home from work last night. No tripod or time to set up one, I just put my bike down and balanced the the D200 with 12-24mm on top of my bike pannier. The flash of Aurora passed in a couple of minutes. The house has just been restored by University of Alaska Museum of the North, and was originally built on the banks of the Kuskokwim River upriver of Aniak, in 1841."
